Pozor na kryptopodvody: Polícia varuje pred novou vlnou telefonických útokov

Policajti upozorňujú na ďalšiu sériu prípadov, pri ktorých neznámi páchatelia telefonicky kontaktovali obete a vydávali sa za odborníkov na kryptomeny či zamestnancov kryptoplatformiem. Cieľ bol vždy rovnaký – získať vzdialený prístup k zariadeniu a následne k bankovým účtom.

Ako postupovali podvodníci

1. Ovládli jej telefón a ukradli 5 000 €

Žena vo veku 55 rokov bola opakovane kontaktovaná mužom, ktorý ju presviedčal, aby si nainštalovala aplikáciu údajne súvisiacu s kryptomenami. Po hovore zistila, že útočník získal kontrolu nad jej telefónom, previedol z jej účtu 5 000 € a dokonca na jej meno vytvoril nový účet aj žiadosť o úver.

2. „Manažér krypto transakcií“ pripravil muža o 16 000 €

Neznámy volajúci presvedčil 62-ročného muža, aby si do počítača nainštaloval program umožňujúci vzdialený prístup. Podvodníci následne manipulovali jeho internetbanking a financie presmerovali na cudzie účty. Muž prišiel o viac ako 16 000 €.

3. Sľúbený „zisk“ z krypta skončil stratou 6 000 €

Ďalší 62-ročný muž uveril rozprávke o zisku z minulých rokov. Podvodník ho presvedčil, že najskôr musí poslať vlastné peniaze, aby si ich mohol „vyzdvihnúť“. Po odoslaní viac než 6 000 € sa volajúci odmlčal.

Ako sa chrániť pred kryptopodvodmi

Polícia opäť pripomína:

  • nikdy neposkytujte osobné údaje, doklady ani overovacie kódy,
  • neklikajte na odkazy a neinštalujte aplikácie, ktoré vám odporučí neznámy volajúci,
  • pri akomkoľvek podozrení okamžite kontaktujte svoju banku a políciu.

Podvodníci využívajú psychologický tlak, rýchle prísľuby zisku a techniky sociálneho inžinierstva. Opatrnosť je preto rozhodujúca.
