Ministerstvo obrany Slovenskej republiky dnes informovalo o výraznom záujme občanov o vstup do Národných obranných síl (NOS). Tento nový koncept aktívnych záloh, založený na dobrovoľnosti a prístupnosti pre širokú verejnosť, zaznamenal k 29. júlu 2025 už 5260 podaných žiadostí, z ktorých bolo 1065 úspešne spracovaných a potvrdených.
Ministerstvo uvádza, že všetkým zaregistrovaným záujemcom budú postupne prideľované termíny výcviku, ktorý je zameraný na získanie základných obranných zručností, podporu ozbrojených síl a posilnenie odolnosti štátu v prípade krízových situácií.
Projekt Národných obranných síl nadviazal na nový zákon o zvýšení odolnosti Slovenskej republiky, ktorý nadobudol účinnosť 1. júla 2025. Ministerstvo obrany zároveň zdôrazňuje, že tento koncept je dobrovoľný a vítaný je každý, kto má záujem prispieť k obranyschopnosti štátu bez toho, aby musel nastúpiť do stálej profesionálnej služby.
