Polícia SR opakovane upozorňuje na narastajúci počet podvodných hovorov. Cieľ je vždy rovnaký: vylákať od ľudí peniaze alebo citlivé údaje. Podvodníci sa často vydávajú za policajtov či iné autority a snažia sa vyvolať stres, aby ste konali rýchlo a bez rozmýšľania.
Ako vyzerá typický „modus operandi“
- volajú z neznámeho alebo „maskovaného“ čísla, predstavia sa ako Polícia SR, banka, kuriér či iná inštitúcia,
- tvrdia, že vaše peniaze sú v ohrození / prebieha vyšetrovanie / „pomáhate polícii pri akcii“,
- žiadajú, aby ste vybrali hotovosť, odovzdali ju „kolegom“, prípadne poslali kópie dokladov alebo prihlasovacie údaje k banke,
- vytvárajú časový tlak („musíte hneď konať, inak prídete o všetko“),
- môžu poslať fotky falošných preukazov či iné „dôkazy“.
Dôležité vedieť
- Polícia nikdy nežiada občanov, aby vyberali alebo odovzdávali peniaze.
- Polícia neposiela fotografie služobných preukazov cez telefón/WhatsApp/Messenger.
- Banka nikdy nechce vaše PINy, SMS kódy, heslá ani inštaláciu „bezpečnostnej aplikácie“ na váš mobil.
Ako reagovať v 3 krokoch
- Okamžite ukončite hovor.
- Naspäť si overte informácie – zavolajte na oficiálne čísla (banka, polícia), ktoré si nájdete sami.
- Nahláste podozrenie na linke 158 (v naliehavých situáciách 112).
Ochrana blízkych (najmä seniorov)
- Dohodnite si v rodine „heslo dôvery“ – bez neho nikomu peniaze neodovzdávať.
- Vysvetlite rodičom/starým rodičom, že autority po telefóne peniaze nežiadajú.
- Nastavte blokovanie neznámych čísel a pravidelne spolu prechádzajte, čo im kto volal.
Už ste niečo odovzdali alebo prezradili?
- Ihneď volajte 158 a svoju banku (blokácia účtu/karty).
- Nemeňte nič v telefóne bez pokynov banky/polície (dôkazy).
- Uschovajte komunikáciu (čísla, správy, mená, časy hovorov).
