Elektrické paralyzéry TASER 10 prichádzajú do výbavy policajtov. Pomôcť majú pri zákrokoch aj transparentnosti

Policajný zbor postupne zavádza do výbavy novú generáciu elektrických paralyzérov TASER 10. Moderné zariadenia majú policajtom pomôcť zvládať rizikové situácie bezpečnejšie, efektívnejšie a zároveň priniesť vyššiu mieru transparentnosti pri služobných zákrokoch.

Jednou z hlavných noviniek je prepojenie paralyzéra s telovou kamerou. V momente aktivácie TASER-u 10 sa automaticky spustí aj záznam z kamery, vďaka čomu bude možné zachytiť priebeh zákroku už od jeho začiatku.

Nový TASER 10 disponuje až desiatimi výstrelmi bez potreby prebíjania a jeho účinný dosah dosahuje približne 13,7 metra. Policajti tak získajú väčší priestor na riešenie nebezpečných situácií bez nutnosti priameho fyzického kontaktu.

Pred zaradením zariadenia do služby musí každý príslušník absolvovať certifikované školenie. Odbor výcviku Prezídia Policajného zboru absolvoval školenie na úrovni Master Instructor a následne vyškolil inštruktorov zo všetkých krajských riaditeľstiev. Paralyzér budú môcť používať iba policajti s úspešne ukončeným výcvikom.

Policajný zbor v súčasnosti využíva 627 telových kamier. Nové TASER-y budú prednostne prideľované práve príslušníkom, ktorí sú nimi vybavení. Podľa polície to umožní objektívnejšie vyhodnocovanie služobných zákrokov a zároveň prispeje k ochrane verejnosti aj samotných policajtov.
