Nový rušeň Vectron vyráža na slovenské trate. ZSSK pokračuje v modernizácii vozidiel

Železnice čaká ďalší krok dopredu. ZSSK už zajtra nasadí do prevádzky nový moderný rušeň Siemens Vectron, tentoraz pod menom VRŠATEC, ktorý sa stane súčasťou diaľkových vlakov na našich tratiach. Svoju prvú jazdu absolvuje na vlaku Ex 607.

Nové Vectrony patria medzi najbezpečnejšie rušne v Európe. Sú vybavené moderným systémom ETCS, ktorý dokáže priebežne kontrolovať rýchlosť vlaku, jeho polohu a povolenia na jazdu. Keď je dostupný režim Level 2, rušne s ním bez problémov pracujú – či už na slovenských úsekoch, alebo pri jazdách do zahraničia. Pre cestujúcich aj rušňovodičov to znamená vyššiu bezpečnosť, plynulejšiu jazdu aj modernejší spôsob riadenia dopravy.

ZSSK plánuje do konca roka zaradiť do prevádzky spolu desať nových Vectronov, ďalších päť pribudne v roku 2026. Postupne tak nahradia staršie stroje radu 350, známe „Gorily“, ktoré dlhé roky vozili vlaky medzi Bratislavou, Košicami či Žilinou.

Modernizácia rušňov tak pokračuje a spolu s ňou aj zvyšovanie bezpečnosti a spoľahlivosti železničnej dopravy. Ostáva len dúfať, že s novými strojmi bude aj porúch na tratiach čo najmenej.
